Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Tax Accountant . This company is looking for someone with 3+ years of accounting experience, has a process improvement mindset, and high attention to detail. This company offers a strong company culture, laid back, friendly atmosphere and a hybrid work environment.
The salary for this position is $70-90k.
The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare federal and state income tax returns.
• Prepare federal and state corporate tax returns for corporations and partnerships.
• Prepare federal and state tax returns for non-profits and trusts.
• Follow up with clients for additional information as needed.
• Provide feedback to tax manager and tax director for process improvement.
• Work with junior staff to train and assist.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

The Senior Tax Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Process improvement mindset.
• Highly detailed oriented.
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ProSystem fx Tax software preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
