Description
FIRST RF is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. Successful candidates are dedicated individuals who thrive in a team-oriented environment. Must be approachable and responsive to a variety of people and issues. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for tracking and kitting materials using an MRP system to produce world class RF systems and antennas.
Essential Functions
Inventory:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the inventory management system
  • Kit and stage materials as required by production demands
  • Ensure inventories are secure and properly identified
  • First in, first out (FIFO) management
  • Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy
  • Create and maintain Microsoft spreadsheets for tracking materials
  • Support other departments within manufacturing as required
  • Provide continuous feedback for improving product flow and efficiency
Storage and Organization:
  • Oversee material flow in a warehouse or similar setting
  • Organize and store received items in designated storage areas
  • Ensure that inventory and receiving areas are clean, organized, and safe
  • Label and categorize items for easy identification and retrieval
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed records of all received shipments and inventory transactions
  • Prepare and distribute inventory reports to relevant departments
  • Assist in the preparation and improvements to department documents for management review
Communication and Coordination:
  • Coordinate with Program Managers and Leads to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Communicate with internal departments regarding inventory needs and issues
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to resolve any order discrepancies
Receiving:
  • Physically receive and inspect packages for accuracy, damage, and quality
  • Verify incoming goods against packing lists and PO's
  • Record and report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate department
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; kneel, crouch, talk and hear.
The employee must be able to move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Typical office hours are Tuesday-Friday, 6:30am-5:00pm. However, these hours may vary based on workload and the manager's discretion. This job may require more than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.

No travel is expected for this position.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
  • Valid Colorado driver's license with good driving record
  • Experienced as an Inventory Coordinator/Clerk, Receiving Clerk, or similar role
  • Possess a strong focus on safety compliance and quality
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Exel, etc.)
  • Good judgment and decision making
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Education and Experience for Secondary Roles
  • Forklift experience
  • Shipping and courier experience
