Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, Global Product Marketing, the Director, Global Product Marketing Strategy and Analytics will support the development of the full global product strategy and be responsible for leading the global and regional mix of business planning cycles. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, category analysis, COGS management, line edit, new product & category strategy, and price strategy. This position will be based out of the Too Faced Corporate Headquarters located in Irvine, California.
Key Responsibilities
Support and define the brand category strategy that drives business and reinforces brand equity:
- Contribute to the development of brand’s 3-year category and product strategy; anticipate future opportunities via industry analysis, culture and trend forecasting and customer segment behaviors.
- Partner with Product Development, Finance, Global Marketing, Global Beauty and Consumer Insights to inform innovation strategy, mix optimization, and product launch cadence.
- Monitor franchise performance in the global marketplace and recommend ongoing optimizations/whitespace opportunities. Support ED on creating the long-term new innovation plan and strategy to ensure plans are sold in, sufficient, within cost of goods targets and meet LRP.
- Enhance insights and creativity through analytics; Work with ED to generate insights and recommendations by subcategory, assortment management, form and portfolio, drive COG analysis, provide strategic pricing input, ensure SKU management across assigned key categories and subcategories and leverage target consumer understanding to tailor strategy to each consumer segment.
Support Regional Product Marketing Needs:
- Support regional teams in the following key areas: pricing, product mix, visual merchandising, assortment optimization, and launch prioritization.
- Be the expert on and provide industry, competitive and internal analysis to guide forecast improvements and identify growth opportunities for the market.
- Own forecast process, working with the category owners within Product Marketing and Global Business Planning to size the NPL opportunity and share with regions to help their forecasting process.
- Work with regions to align on product calendar elements and forecast.
- Prepare materials for presentation of marketing plans to all affiliates and retailers when applicable.
- Assess project performance based on market feedback and business results.
- Work closely with region partners to bring feedback and opportunities to the global team to ensure we are driving regional trends and opportunities with our Product Teams.
- Lead mix of business bi-annual planning for in year and 3-year plans annually.
Lead strategic initiatives to fuel business:
- Lead the bi-annual corporate innovation summary (BIT) for all categories.
- Develop and implement a sampling strategy for the brand supported across all categories.
- Direct and support overall business initiatives and strategic planning including pricing analysis, VM strategy, etc.
- Support annual Global product Innovation Strategy and Brand Strategy presentations.
- Remain relentlessly up to date on emerging and future trends across all relevant industries to identify and grow business opportunities.
Leadership:
- Provide leadership, motivation, and ongoing coaching for a Manager on your team to cultivate a successful and effective team dynamic.
- Champion change and support speed to market initiatives while motivating and supporting team and cross-functional team. A true team player that can strategically influence and work with multiple cross-functional partners.
Metrics
- Portfolio Management (product mix, lifecycle management, SKU rationalization).
- Innovation (R&D investment efficiency, new technology sourcing, cruelty-free assurance).

Qualifications

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,550 to $208,200. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
