Point of Care Team Summary
The Point of Care team (POC) develops the Point of Care strategy and activation.
Position Summary
The Associate Director, Point of Care plans and manages the Point of Care media programs assigned to clients. You will manage the daily team workload, develop relationships with POC media partners, plan and coordinate projects, ensure plans adhere to PHM planning process, build relationships with mid-level clients, manage and train direct reports, and work directly with the Strategy team. You will report to a Director of Point of Care.
The goal for this role is to support client Point of Care marketplace initiatives and help maintain PHM Point of Care partnerships.
Responsibilities
Knowledge
- Understanding of how the agency works and how jobs flow throughout
- Understanding of client’s business and goals
- Understanding of how client business objectives translate into Point of Care marketplace strategies
- Understanding of the Point of Care marketplace and partner landscape
- Firm understanding of Point of Care partnership opportunities, deals and terms
- Understanding of agency Terms + Conditions and Point of Care partner contracting process
Day-to-Day
- Manage a team
- Create Point of Care tactical recommendation
- Own presenting POC recommendation
- Ownership of the business rules and parameters of the point of care engagement
- Development of HCP Target list business rules that outline main requirements for individual brands, prioritization across franchises, and overlap strategy
- Development of cross franchise strategy
- Prepare HCP target list for dissemination to partners
- Evaluation and selection of offices and tactics by brand
- Monthly & Quarterly validation and verification of each partner
- Oversees the daily execution of Point of Care team tasks
- Responsible for managing delivery of Point of Care team projects and tasks
- Advances best practices in Point of Care process, efficiencies
- Responsible for Point of Care Marketplace updates
- Owns Point of Care POVs
- Responsible for execution of ad hoc projects
Internal + External Relationships
- Responsible for developing talent, delegating, and ensuring teams are working smoothly
- Responsible for managing team assignments
- Provide clear, regular communication regarding client and project goals, prioritization and measures of success to all partners
- Provide expertise and share knowledge with junior team members
- Deliver constructive, actionable feedback to team
- Begin to develop working relationships with client contacts
- Lead relationships with Point of Care media partners
- Collaborate internally with leadership across capabilities and teams
- Continue to develop relationships with important Groupe teams, PMX, APEX
- Contributes to new business efforts
Qualifications
- Exhibits integrity and an attitude of continuous improvement
- Ability to multi-task, manage one’s time, and demonstrate personal organization
- Ability to manage people and projects
- Able to deal with ambiguous and challenging situations
- Literacy of business intelligence software such as SQL, MicroStrategy, Datorama, and an understanding of data manipulation
- Adherence to agency procedures (accurate time sheets, performance conversations)
- 5-7 years of industry experience within media planning or buying for Point of Care, Out of Home, or HCP
