Job Details
Our Client is seeking a full time MRI Tech Assistant to work in their state-of-the-art outpatient imaging facilities located in Mercer County, NJ.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist technologists/radiologists with patient exam preparations and electronic record input.
• Verify patient information before providing paperwork to technologist.
• Escort patients to modality areas for technologists.
• Send images to PACs Cube when patient requests their study.
• Communicate with radiologist for technologist when needed.
• Promptly answer phone calls within the department using established customer service guidelines.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years related medical work experience preferred.
• Must be able to physically assist patients into wheel chairs and onto imaging tables.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer technology.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks on a timely basis and work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to speak effectively and present a pleasant, profession demeanor/image during telephone conversations or in person.
• Adherence to follow established procedures and make sound decisions based on those procedures.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information according to policy.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 11am-7:30pm and Saturday 6:30am-2:30pm
