Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Intensive Family Coordinator in Cumberland County, Maine. As a nonprofit organization focused on providing support and assistance to families in need, we are committed to helping them navigate through challenging situations and thrive.
As an Intensive Family Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing intensive case management services to families facing complex issues such as homelessness, substance abuse, mental health challenges, and domestic violence. You will work closely with families, assessing their needs, and developing comprehensive care plans that promote self-sufficiency and stability. Through your guidance and support, you will empower families to make positive changes and reach their goals.
Status: Full-Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position : Intensive Family Coordinator (IFC) is responsible for case management.

  • Responsibilities include intakes, safety planning, team meetings, ISP development, 24/7 support, case contacts, and case record documentation in keeping with state regulations.
  • The IFC will assist in selecting and supervising advocate staff and provide 24/7 crisis intervention and support.
  • The IFC will assist the Program Director with day-to-day program management responsibilities as needed
Qualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience work community work and at least one year experience working in human services field.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
