Job Summary

Are you ready to lead a talented group of engineers working on impactful water and wastewater infrastructure projects? As the Engineering Manager for Water & Wastewater, you will oversee the technical aspects of diverse projects, ranging from state-of-the-art treatment facilities to underground piping systems, all with a focus on sustainable and carbon-neutral solutions. This role offers the chance to guide multidisciplinary teams while driving the future of water management technology.


What You'll Do

  1. Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex, large-scale municipal projects.
  2. Develop and deliver intricate engineering designs for projects utilizing various delivery methods such as traditional, design-build, and collaborative models.
  3. Conduct detailed research to recommend materials and equipment, and perform in-depth engineering analysis.
  4. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and technical quality across different engineering disciplines, ensuring project milestones are achieved.
  5. Take ownership of projects, ensuring seamless coordination between teams and meeting all project goals.
  6. Understand and align with client priorities on moderately complex projects, communicating their requirements effectively to the engineering team.
  7. Provide expert technical guidance for water and wastewater treatment projects, leading your team to deliver innovative and effective solutions.
  8. Supervise, mentor, and coach engineering staff, and foster career development.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, particularly in water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  3. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred, EIT acceptable.
  4. Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary upgrades and expansions in water treatment facilities.
