Position Summary:
The Content Specialist plays a critical role in the recovery and restoration of properties, buildings, and items that have been damaged by various factors such as fire, water, mold, or natural disasters. Their primary responsibility is to restore these damaged assets to their pre-loss condition. The Content Specialist works closely with Mitigation Foreman, Core Claims Project Managers and customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes pack ins/pack outs adherent to the scope of work provided by the Contents Managers.
- Complete photographic inventories of personal property using an iPad and Contents Track software.
- Perform physical labor associated with cleanup activities, packing and categorizing of customers’ contents, general on-location cleaning, and deodorization of personal property and structure.
- Acquires appropriate documentation from homeowners/communicates with homeowners to notify of job schedule.
- Structure cleaning of walls, floors, ceilings, and all areas affected by water and/or fire damage
- Complete cleaning process for contents on assigned jobs/clean up job sites after demolition
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure that proper PPE is utilized, and safety precautions are taken
- Provide detailed notes and photos using the company’s digital record keeping system
- Communicate with the Contents Manager daily to advise on job progress, issues, etc.
- Remediate soot and smoke from fire damaged contents and structures
- Drives company vehicles
Qualifications:
- Must speak and write English (REQUIRED)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Good driving record
- Must pass drug screen
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional attitude and demeanor
Environment Conditions:
Climate controlled home/office and other settings. Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat. Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud and from occasional to frequent time periods. Exposure to fumes from solvents and chemical solutions.
