Reporting to the Executive that leads WDI Business Transformation & Workforce Strategy, the Business Transformation Senior Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and driving a large portfolio of business transformation and process improvement opportunities for Walt Disney Imagineering. This role drives and coordinates complex projects that bring together cross-functional teams and partners across WDI to drive transformative efforts. The position requires a proven collaborator who is forward-thinking, seeks innovative solutions, and can balance analytical capabilities with creative, business savvy, and a calm demeanor to drive challenging work to deliver results.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead WDI Business Transformation strategy and execution in partnership with key stakeholders across Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Experiences.
  • Identify and lead transformational efforts that include reinvention of existing processes and business rules using data-driven visualization.
  • Prioritize resourcing of transformational efforts based on holistic impacts to the organization and segment.
  • Advance new and unique analytical approaches that provide actionable insights to all levels of the organization.
  • Influence decision-making at all levels and inspire changes in culture and new ways of working.
  • Present complex findings and recommendations to senior executives.
  • Influence cultural change and process improvements that align with business priorities.
  • Provide leadership and ongoing professional development for both direct and indirect reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 10+ years progressive leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategy development for large-scale programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive transformational work with a proven track record driving change and innovation.
  • Significant project management and/or consulting experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills; challenges status quo.
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with cross-functional partners and lead in a collaborative way to drive results across the end-to-end business.
  • Demonstrated resilience - maintains performance and manages effectively in the face of pressure and conflicting points of view.
  • Proven leader who enables the overarching strategy and drives results through strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and creative problem solving.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to present complex topics in a clear and concise way.
  • Demonstrated passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion including inviting diverse perspectives, fostering an inclusive work environment, and supporting workforce diversity.

Education:

BS in Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field or equivalent experience; MBA a plus.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $130,600 to $175,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
