Duties Include:
As Director of Sales at East West Hospitality, your key responsibilities will focus on driving direct sales efforts and managing and maintaining strong relationships with travel trade accounts. You will oversee the daily management of high-end travel trade partners, strategically developing new accounts while providing product training through in-market sales missions, webinars, and proactive communication. Maintaining a well-organized CRM and coordinating B2B communications with the Director of Sales Operations will be essential to your success. You'll host travel trade partners in-resort, positioning East West Hospitality and its destinations to boost revenue and market share. Representing EWH at international and domestic events, trade shows, and sales missions, you'll build relationships and drive short and long-term revenue growth. Collaborating with operations, revenue management, and reservations, you'll work to enhance guest experiences and develop sales strategies, improve processes, and maximize occupancy and rental income. You'll also maintain strong relationships within the local lodging community and stay informed on industry trends, ensuring you're always one step ahead. Pay Rate: $75k-$85k annually, depending on experience, eligible for sales incentive plan
Minimum Requirements
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Ideal candidates will have at least five years of combined experience as a Sales Manager/Director or in a leadership role within property management or luxury hotel operations, preferably at a four-star resort. International sales experience is preferred, along with a competitive drive and self-motivation. Proficiency in English is required, and Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus. Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SendSites, and property management systems, are essential. The role requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally, professional attire, and strong negotiation skills.
