While it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $77,570-$124,080. Individual salary within this range will be commensurate with the incumbent's experience, unique skills and qualifications, and other relevant factors.

This is a hybrid capacity position that requires both onsite presence and remote work.

Overview:

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the accounts receivable function associated with the IDA's contract billings. The supervisor ensures accurate receivable records and supports the Corporate Controller in preparation of financial reports related to the account receivable function and general ledger accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manages full cycle invoicing process for all contract types (CPFF, FFP and T&M). This includes managing the preparation of invoices and contract specific supplemental reports, verifying the accuracy of system generated invoices for proper indirect cost loading and fee recognition, electronic submissions through various customer invoicing systems, and ultimate collection of invoices sent to customer.
  2. Establishes consistent billing standards, processes, and templates for A/R staff. Drafts and updates procedural changes as necessary.
  3. Identifies any differences between company and customer records as necessary. Prepares reconciliations of cumulative billings and payments received.
  4. Reports on the balances in the monthly Unbilled Receivable report and providing insight into timing differences between billing and revenue recognition.
  5. Prepares and reviews the invoicing status report monthly with management.
  6. Works with Contract Manager to provide final invoices prior to contract closeout deadlines. Helps with research and provides guidance as needed.
  7. Monitors receivable balances including collection activities for contracts.
  8. Ensures a system of proper matching of cash receipts to invoices.
  9. Participates in financial close and generates reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts related to the accounts receivable function.
  10. Prepares and approves all credit memos or voided invoices.
  11. Oversees the project setup function in Costpoint to ensure proper creation of projects with the proper project attributes.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred or related area and five years of experience in government contract billing and collections
  • Must have experience with Deltek Cost Point, WAWF, Vipers,IPP
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Solid understanding of GAAP revenue recognition and FAR Cost Principles for cost allowability
  • Proficient with MS Office, particularly in MS Excel
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
  • US citizenship is required
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
