Sierra Lobo, Inc. has an opening for a highly-motivated, enthusiastic programming intern with a passion for coding and a strong work ethic. Our company offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Located in the verdant rolling fields of North-Central Ohio, our Milan, Ohio Technology Development and Engineering Center offers a pleasant, casual work environment with a picturesque pond and short walking trail on-site. This on-site internship is for the fall of 2024. Full-time or part-time internship available.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Enrolled in or planning to attend an ABET-accredited university pursuing a degree in Computer Science
  • Experience or an understanding of Python and C/C++ programming languages
  • Experience with embedded systems and NASA's Core Flight System (cFS) is desirable but not required
  • Technical or Vocational school training with real-world experience may also apply
  • Good electrical, mechanical, organizational and communication skills with attention to detail are a plus.
