Koch Industries, one of the largest private companies in America, is seeking a Tax Manager to join our growing tax team!

This role can be based out of our Atlanta, GA; Wichita, KS; or Dallas, TX office.

What You Will Do

  1. Review income tax returns to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with domestic tax law including Forms 1120 and 1065 as well as the tracking of tax basis.
  2. Maintain tax positions and attributes for assigned companies.
  3. Develop and train senior tax analysts, tax analysts, and tax interns.
  4. Update projections based on business forecasts and review quarterly tax accounting submissions.
  5. Build and develop relationships across the Koch companies to understand and optimize the various business tax positions.
  6. Manage prioritization of multiple projects and communicate results to the team and leadership.
  7. Research tax impacts and determine required disclosures and reporting impacts related to transactions.
  8. Drive innovation and transformation within the tax organization.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Progressive career experience in corporate taxation, tax accounting, financial reporting, or accounting related roles.
  2. Advanced understanding and application of federal tax policies and regulations and reporting requirements.
  3. Experience prioritizing multiple projects, communicating results, and driving initiatives forward.

What Will Put You Ahead

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher.
  2. ASC 740, formerly FAS 109, accounting for income taxes experience.
  3. Experience training, supervising, and developing tax staff and/or interns.
  4. Experience working with partnership and/or international tax compliance.
