The Director of Information Technology plays a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing Tri City National Bank’s IT operations. In partnership with the Chief Information Officer, the Director of Information Technology will be responsible for overseeing the Bank’s Information Technology department and developing strategy for the usage of technology across all departments of the Bank.

Compensation: Negotiable depending on experience.

This is an in office position located at our Operations Center in West Allis, WI.

Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the Chief Information Officer, lead the IT strategic and operational planning for the department.
  • Design, develop, then implement IT initiatives that drive innovation and operational excellence across the bank.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, implementation, and integration of new technologies.
  • Partner with other department leaders to develop solutions aimed at meeting the Bank’s strategic goals.
  • Communicate all IT policies, standards, and procedures for the Bank across all departments.
  • Manage IT budgets, contracts, vendor relationships, and the execution of IT projects.
  • Lead the daily IT operations, ensuring the continuity and reliability of technology systems that support business functions.
  • Manage, mentor, recruit, and develop existing as well as new IT department staff by promoting a collaborative, innovative yet highly efficient work environment.
  • Work closely with the Bank’s Information Security department to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and security requirements.
  • Review, recommend and advise the Bank’s leadership team on adopting new technology, sponsoring new projects, and best practices or industry trends in technology.
  • Continuously improve upon existing internal department processes to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as an ambassador of Tri City National Bank at community functions, client entertainment events, and industry related networking opportunities.
  • Respond to audit requests, compliance inquiries, and or internal reviews quickly and efficiently.
  • Reporting regularly to the Bank’s Executive Leadership team on the status of IT projects, IT personnel, new opportunities, and the strategic direction of the Bank’s Technology use cases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of IT management experience, including strategic planning, project management, and IT operations.
  • A strong understanding of regulatory requirements, personnel management, and IT security practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong history of using Microsoft Office 365 collaboration tools.
  • Banking or Financial services experience preferred.
