Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Pacific has awarded Dragados JV a $2.8 billion task order – under an $8 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award construction contract awarded in November 2021 to Dragados JV to replace a dry dock at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility at Joint Base Pearl Harbor.

Quality Administrator

Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, the Quality Administrator will act as a representative of Quality throughout the project and be responsible for contributing to the ongoing development and delivery of the project’s Quality Control Plan through participation in a variety of Quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Providing on-going Quality onboarding support aimed at the implementation of the Quality Control Plan, procedures, and processes by project personnel
  • Preparation of regular monthly quality reports and daily quality report summaries for the Quality Control Manager
  • Assist the Quality Control Manager in the maintenance of the Quality Control Plan
  • Ensure that all Quality records associated with the implementation of the Quality Control Plan are kept organized and in the appropriate location within Aconex or Sharepoint
  • Track status of all inspections and tests to inform the Quality Control Manager and ensure that all non-conforming product, activity or procedure is recorded in the Non-Conformity Report (NCR) and in the NCRs register
  • Manage Employee Certifications/Qualifications log (i.e., Welders)
  • Manage Training log for quality (FieldWire, NCR, Onboarding)
  • Verify in the field that all the testing equipment used by the Laboratory is properly maintained and calibrated
  • Keep minutes of meetings such as Plan of the Day, Weekly QC Meeting (3 Week look ahead), and 3 Phase Meetings

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Post-secondary education
  • 2-5 years of Quality Control and Assurance experience
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management System
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary, multilingual, and multicultural team
  • Effective relationship building skills which allow you to obtain and analyze information from multiple diverse sources
  • Able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
