Pediatric Learning and Development Manager - Job Description

Position Overview:

D4C Dental Brands is seeking an experienced, dynamic Pediatric Learning and Development Manager to spearhead training initiatives across our MD, DC, and Midwest dental practices. In this key role, you will oversee the onboarding experience, which we view as a critical success factor for all new hires, regardless of their position. Ensuring a smooth and impactful onboarding process directly influences our ability to deliver the exceptional patient care we pride ourselves on.

As part of the People Development team, you will facilitate a comprehensive onboarding curriculum tailored for new team members in our pediatric dental offices, including roles such as Front Office Coordinators, Dental Assistants, Hygienist and Operations Managers. We're looking for a passionate leader who is committed to empowering others, continuously improving our processes, communication, and patient care.

This role involves classroom, virtual, hybrid, and in-office training, so the ideal candidate must be well-organized, adaptable, and a skilled multitasker. While prior experience in dentistry is a plus, it's not a requirement-we believe the passion for learning and teaching can be more valuable than subject matter expertise (which you'll quickly gain!). Our doctors and teams are united in their mission to create exceptional patient experiences that foster a lifetime of dental health knowledge and care.

This position requires someone who excels at building relationships, fostering trust, and ensuring new hires and existing team members feel supported and engaged. Training topics will include software systems, orthodontic terminology, verbiage, task-based processes, and more. As we operate on a variety of platforms, being tech-savvy and able to adapt quickly is key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Become a subject matter expert in our office practices, processes, and culture to support the ongoing development of team members.

- Partner with Operations, and Clinical leadership to evaluate needs and implement trainings effectively.

- Training Topics Include (but are not limited to):

- Office-specific tasks, terminology, workflows, and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in a training and development role
