19.00 per hour 19.00 | Chicago, IL, USA | Hourly | Full TimeShift: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pmKey Responsibilities:Responsible for sets/resets conference rooms/beverage requests per the schedule provided by the Conference Center CoordinatorConducts floor checks and maintains Conference Center to cleanliness and organization standards; performs weekly supply auditsStocks and restocks assigned canteens and copy stations daily; reports issues to appropriate individualsResponds to customer concerns, escalating where necessaryPerforms regular inspections of workspace(s) to identify area/items/equipment/materials in need of repair, replacement, and/or upgradesKeeps accurate records/logs of inspections/room checksCommunicates effectively and professionally through speech, email, chats, and phone callsProvides outstanding customer service at all times, without exceptionAssists/backs up other team members when neededOther duties as assigned by managementQualifications:HS Diploma or equivalency requiredWorking knowledge of mail/distribution basics or office experience equivalentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Products including: Word, Excel, Outlook, and TeamsMust demonstrate exceptional customer service skills; adaptable to a dynamic environment while possessing strong interpersonal skillsMust be able to learn new skills quicklyFlexible and able to juggle multiple, and at times, conflicting prioritiesStrong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervisionAble to remain diplomatic in stressful situations; team oriented and has the capacity to build strong working relationships both within the team and with external stakeholders/customersExhibits superior verbal and written customer service skillsMaintains confidentiality while working with highly sensitive materialsAble to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of timeAble to lift or move 50lbs or greater at times
