You will oversee and lead the design and implementation of the company's information security control framework and risk management strategy to protect company systems and data (i.e., customer, fin pro) and achieve compliance with regulatory requirements. Is accountable to the organization as the Chief Information Security Officer. Stays current with new developments and trends in cybersecurity risks, technologies and best practices. Partners effectively with key stakeholders both locally and globally to design and implement solutions that address the safeguarding needs of the organization and meet the requirements of Allianz SE Group. You will report to the COO.
What you do:
- Security Strategy & Budget: You will lead the development and management of the company's Information Security strategy. Manages a team of information security professionals. Drives ongoing development and execution of critical security processes across the enterprise in partnership with Allianz Technology of America (ATA) as a critical IT security service provider. Leads and influences security by design across the organization and interfaces with senior management to prioritize and fund initiatives. Accountable to Allianz SE parent company for achieving global security targets. Delivers on planned IS budget and financials to achieve company operating profit and sustainability targets.
- Compliance & Risk: You will oversee the effective design, implementation and ongoing monitoring of security controls to safeguard company systems, assets and data and comply with local regulatory and Group compliance requirements. Accountable for a risk assessment process to ensure that material security risks are identified and managed with appropriate controls, training and incident response procedures.
- Business Advisory: You will partner with technology and business areas in an advisory capacity to ensure that the security controls and risk management practices are properly integrated into business systems and processes as part of company growth and change initiatives including product, distribution and operations support.
- Stakeholder Management: You will effectively manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders through effective and consistent messaging of security risks, expectations and requirements. Key stakeholders include but are not limited to Corporate Risk Management, Legal and Compliance, IT, ATA, AZL/AZL NY Board of Directors and AZ SE Group.
What you bring:
- 8+ years of experience required in IT Controls, IT risk management and information security management including management of security risks associated with both internal and external vendor partners
- Four–year degree required in a technical discipline, engineering, business, mathematics or related field
