Responsibilities: • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties • Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities • Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests • Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations • Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors Qualifications: • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) Compensation: $2.13 + tips
