Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description:Involved with leading change and making sure our factory stays World Class, which means zero defects, zero waste and zero losses. You will utilize your full range of Continuous Improvement methods and tools to identify, prioritize, and eliminate factory losses working autonomously or with cross functional partnership. Additionally, the role involves reviewing part and tool designs, managing robotic programs, providing technical support on the production floor, and spearheading new projects. Candidates MUST HAVE a bachelor's degree in engineering with 4+ years of experience working in a fast paced production setting.Increase stability of the production line to support our vision from traditional line teams to a semi-autonomous team.Prioritize projects through data stratification of factory downtime and waste data.Identify growth and savings opportunities within the factory and develop business cases around them.Manage small projects from ideation through implementation.Work closely with operators and maintenance team during continuous improvement activities and act as the technical trainer when needed.Hard Skills:Continuous improvement, LEAN, 5SMaintenance supportPlant engineering, CAPEX project managementTooling performanceGMPProcess root cause analysisSoft Skills:Cross functional communicationTechnical supportTeam collaborationProblem solving skillsWork Environment:Full onsite position in Independence, MO.
