About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models and providing actionable insights to help our clients make informed business decisions. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts and software developers, to deliver data-driven solutions that address real-world challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and insights. Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
  • Collaboration and Consulting: Work collaboratively with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Collaboration with Data Engineering: Work alongside data engineers in exploratory data analysis and data preprocessing within Azure ML, supporting data pipeline development.
  • Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning. Identify opportunities to incorporate new techniques and technologies into existing workflows.

This role will be mainly based in Columbus, Ohio.

About You

You’ll bring extensive data science experience gained through a combination of industry and consulting roles. You will be comfortable developing and strengthening peer-to-peer level relationships at all levels with our clients.

Ideally, you will have as much of the following experience as possible:

  • Extensive experience in data science or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering successful data-driven projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Python and strong background in data science and machine learning.
  • Experience with SQL and familiarity with Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML), along with deploying and optimizing ML models in production settings.
  • Experience monitoring and optimizing models’ performance to address latency, memory, throughput and other operational parameters.
  • Strong experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Expertise in statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
