Sr. Legal Specialist - MMS
Location: Richmond, VA (Preferred), Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX

Overview:
McKesson’s Law Department is seeking a Senior Legal Specialist to support the Extended Care customer and Biomed segments, as well as other areas of the McKesson Medical-Surgical business. This role is integral to the Extended Care segment, which serves a significant portion of our Medical-Surgical customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of customer agreements, including product supply agreements, rebate agreements, rental agreements, service agreements, technology agreements, and other contracts related to the medical-surgical business.
- Legal Consultation: Advise on legal provisions within contracts, identify potential legal and business issues, and collaborate with attorneys, business stakeholders, and operational experts to resolve such issues.
- Contract Negotiations: Actively participate and lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms for McKesson.
- Guidance and Compliance: Provide guidance on contracting standards, identify and mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with McKesson’s internal and legal processes and policies.
- Policy Development: Recommend, develop, and implement contracting policies, procedures, and processes.
- Template Management: Collaborate with the Legal Team to review, update, and develop standard contract and amendment templates.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative activities, including tracking contract status, filing, and organization.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience as a paralegal focusing on transactional work, with a preference for in-house experience.
- Commercial Contracting: Proven experience with commercial contracting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Apttus, Salesforce.com, Pramata, and DocuSign.
- Regulatory Experience: Prior experience in healthcare regulatory matters, particularly the federal Anti-Kickback Statute.
- Project Management: Experience in project management is advantageous but not required.

Our Base Pay Range for this position: $88,500 - $147,500
