DescriptionAmazon is seeking a Business Development leader to build financial services and fintech partnerships that drive the development of new Amazon Lending products. The Amazon Lending team creates and manages a global portfolio of products for Amazon Sellers, including term loans, line-of-credit, merchant cash advance and other financial products offered to Amazon Sellers. As part of this team, this individual will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing partnerships and strategic initiatives with banks and fintech partners.Amazon Sellers are an incredible opportunity to address a vast market segment and customer base, and is an area of high interest and growth for Amazon. The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for complex multi-party deal negotiation and execution. This includes partnerships which grow our existing Lending products, as well as partnerships to develop and launch new lending solutions. The role will require close coordination with product teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Corporate Business Development, Legal, Finance, Risk, etc., and with external partners’ senior executives. This key role will be highly visible to Amazon leadership, and interact with senior leaders in various external partner organizations. You will need to work collaboratively with both internal and external teams.The ideal candidate will have significant experience delivering on complex deal work and strategy, enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional teams and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market.
