Bob King Service Director/ Assistant Service Director

Responsibilities:

1. Coach service drive team on properly following the promise process both in the moment and through weekly one-on-one sessions.
2. Ensure that the customers' experience is exceptional by maintaining an efficient shop that follows the promise process, creating exceptional videos, and ensuring the service drive team follows the process with every customer, every time.
3. Ensure high Customer Satisfaction scores and analyze these metrics to isolate areas for improvement.
4. Ensure that both the technicians and advisors have a high level of product knowledge for recommended service intervals and warranty repairs.
5. Mentor new and experienced advisors and technicians on standard methodologies for improving performance.
6. Ensure proper follow-up of all customers during and after their visit with the dealership.
7. Maintain all factory training and make sure the service team is 100% certified by the 15th of each month.
8. Achieve forecasted goals and objectives for the dealership.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of two years of dealership service/assistant management experience, preferably with an import dealership.
2. Successful history of building and training a service team, strong CSI scores, and above-average gross and net departmental profits.
3. Expertise in supervising the everyday efforts of both Service Advisors and Technicians through leadership, coaching, and training.
