Required Certification(s):

  1. IAT Level III (CISSP/CASP) + Computing Environment (CE)
  2. Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
  3. One additional specialized certification cloud technology or relevant to the scope of the PWS.

SUMMARY

As part of Agile Defense, the successful candidates will provide Linux & Cybersecurity services to sustain the RHEL satellite servers on Army and MI Domain networks, both on-premise and in Army Commercial Cloud Service Provider (AC2SP). The contract services will contribute to operation, sustainment, and regulatory compliance of Army JWICS and the MI Domains across the INSCOM G6/GISA global Enterprise.

Agile Defense is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Computer Systems Engineer/Architect - Linux to support a contract providing RHEL services to INSCOM GISA.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Operate and maintain RHEL satellite server on Army and MI Domain networks both on-premise and in Army Commercial Cloud Service Provider (AC2SP).
  2. Utilize Satellite server and Yellow-dog Update Manager (YUM), Ansible, vSphere client, SSH clients, and industry best practices to manage RHEL clients on all Customer Networks (~200 virtual servers initially with the expectation to grow approximately 10% every option year).
  3. Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Linux configuration standard baseline compliant with DISA STIG.
  4. Publish the STIG checklist no less than quarterly and as changes to the STIG are published.
  5. Support Government requirements to accomplish the submittal of new and amended Authorization and Accreditation packages according to the RMF NIST 800-53, AR-25-2, ICD 503, and DAMI-IMC Memo CSP-MGMT-CA-010.
  6. Design, implement, and maintain RHEL Identity Management (IdM) solution on Army MI Networks. Integrate IdM with Active Directory Kerberos and DNS services.
  7. Automate IdM policy enforcement to mirror Customer Enterprise Active Directory IdM STIG compliance.
  8. Document IdM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and integrate procedures into Customer AD, Naming Convention, and Quarantine Procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Certifications

  1. IAT Level III (CISSP/CASP) + Computing Environment (CE)
  2. Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
  3. One additional specialized certification cloud technology or relevant to the scope of the PWS.

Education, Background, and Years of Experience

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related field or 15 years of related experience.
  2. Ideal candidate will have excellent Linux experience, at a SME level.
