Manager, Financial Systems

About the Role & Team

We are seeking a Manager for Financial Systems to join our team at Disney Financial Systems. As a key player within The Walt Disney Company, you'll lead the modernization and implementation of SAP's S/4 HANA general ledger software and other critical systems. We are looking for a forward-thinking problem solver with strong operational understanding of accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with finance, technology, and business partners to facilitate successful system implementation
• Develop and implement strategies to address finance needs and document agreed upon functional requirements
• Connect functional processes to organizational goals and develop solutions to system issues
• Coordinate and participate in finance-related testing efforts for system implementations

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years' work experience with accounting teams in a large company
• Deep knowledge of SAP accounting solutions and operational experience supporting an SAP GL platform
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using SAP or S/4 HANA system
• Experience in implementing financial processes and systems

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
