Tool Builder (Night Shift)

Character of Positions as As a Tool Builder, you will be responsible for building tools or fixtures to facilitate improved efficiency and quality of end-products.
Responsibilities • Execute build as represented in manufacturing plan and on prints for most medium and difficult complexity jobs• Operate most manual machines including lathes, presses, grinders, and Bridgeport's• Work on a wide variety of projects with frequent, established deadlines• Achieve quality and production goals• May have potential for travel• Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance• Other duties as assigned
Skills • Effective oral and written communications• Ability to work effectively in a team environment• Self-motivated but able to take direction• Understand and work to all QMS procedures and work instructions• Ability to read complex blueprints• Identify and find specifications within blueprint given• Geometric tolerances (understand and recognize some symbols)• Understanding of general tolerances• Comprehend simple sections and views• Understand reference system• Strong understanding of Catia V5 and or Enovia
Experience • Minimum of 3 years aerospace tooling experienceEducation• High School Diploma or equivalent
