Energy Recovery is on the lookout for a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team at our Tracy, CA facility. You'll play a vital part in our manufacturing process, performing precision machining operations on a variety of materials using both manual and CNC equipment.

What Will You Do?

    • Maintain working area and machine in good 5's standard and presentable
    • Direct interaction with all phases of the ceramic manufacturing process including batch mixing, spray drying, ISO Pressing, kiln operations
    • Perform the work assigned daily by the supervisor/leader at work station
    • Report daily output, progress and issues to supervisor if they arise during working hours
    • Perform daily maintenance checklist at beginning the shift
    • Report any issues/ problems to supervisor / leader
    • All other projects and duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Table:
    • 1-2 years of working experience in manufacturing environment
    • Willing to learn and do all processes of manufacturing
    • Must be detail oriented and can follow instructions, processes as assigned
    • Must be a team player and a team results oriented attitude
    • Must know basic math in order to accurately make measurements
    • Basic machine operation skills
    • Be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and reading
    • Be able to stand to work for 8 hours
    • Be able to lift, pull or push material up to 45 pounds
    • PC skills, including Microsoft Office is a plus.
    • Have some knowledge of mechanical assembly and hydraulic systems
    • Knowledge of ceramic manufacturing a plus, willing to train

$18 - $24 an hour
The below range is the range that we reasonably believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future. The salary range for this role is $18.00 to $24.00.
