Line cooks are responsible for providing our guests with safely prepared foods, prepared to recipe specifications, while maintaining a clean kitchen and work station. A line cook sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies. Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
Requirements
At least one year kitchen experience in a high-volume restaurant
Experience wish Irish cuisine preferable but not required
Understanding of classic sauces, cooking techniques, and knife cuts
Strong desire to learn and grow
Full availability, including weekends
Commitment to high-quality food standards
Knowledge of health department regulations
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Pay: $13 per hour starting rate but also based on experience plus tips.
