How You'll Make An Impact:
As Bushel's CFO, you will serve as a key partner to the CEO on strategic value-creation initiatives. You will work with all members of the executive leadership team (ELT) as well as the Board, to provide an analytical focus to the assessment of business objectives. You will be a strong leader who can both drive strategic solutions and operate in a hands-on environment. You will be a business counselor as much as a financial counselor, and have the ability to speak to broader issues facing the company. Our Controller and Finance team are top notch - accounting is covered. We are looking for a skilled general manager type who possesses strategic savvy and a firm grasp of operations in the CFO seat.
Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Take an active leadership role in setting top-level company strategy and policy
• Drive company budgeting, long-term planning, reporting, legal, regulatory, and audit processes.
• Identify and measure appropriate KPIs and benchmarks to ensure growth is aligned with company, board, and investor requirements.
• Develop organizational forecasts (incl. a 5-yr plan) in collaboration with business functions and by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities
• Partner with Executive team on M&A activities; strategy, and post-deal integration
• Investor relations in partnership with the CEO; Maximize return on funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships.
• Manage cap table and equity compensation plans.
• Implement necessary people, process, and tool enhancements sufficient to support forecasted growth, as aligned with the five-year plan and exit strategies.
• Provide security and governance leadership and related certification efforts (i.e., SOC2, PCI, ISO 27001) and ensure compliance with the law and company policies.

What Bushel Is Looking For:

• Excellent communication and people skills
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• Prior experience as CFO or relevant role
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and risk management practices
• Previous financial leadership experience in a technology software as a service (SAAS) company in a high-growth environment
• Later stage venture funding experience
• Experience managing corporate equity, including stock option incentive plans
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficient in the use of Google Suite, MS Office, and financial management software (e.g., Oracle Netsuite)
