Being a Senior Scrum Master at iManage means…

You are a strong Senior Scrum Master who is excited to lead and coach multiple Scrum teams consisting of 3-8 members. In this role, you will be accountable for reinforcing the Scrum framework and other team agreements. As a Senior Scrum Master at iManage, you will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple teams within our Cloud Operations department, specifically the Site Reliability Engineering teams. You will play a vital role in evolving the teams’ Agile best practices and ensuring solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively. In addition, you will be responsible for motivating the team and working in a collaborative manner with the team to discuss changes that will ensure quality.

iMResponsible For…

  • Helping the team focus on daily and sprint goals in the context of current product objectives.
  • Leading teams’ efforts in relentless improvement by helping the team take ownership of their action items, as identified during the teams' retrospective.
  • Assessing and coaching the teams to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the teams and organization.
  • Supporting the team in their efforts to manage the backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.
  • Promoting quality practices to assist the teams in constantly improving the quality of their deliverables and meeting the Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Facilitating and leading the teams during Scrum events such as planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensuring the team members are trained in techniques that allow them to live Agile/Lean principles and mentor teams and individuals on their Agile mindset journey.
  • Ensuring they are up to date on the latest agile ways of working and techniques and regularly apply them.
  • Navigating and resolving conflicts, facilitating collective consensus-building, and facilitating collective decision-making, driving the teams toward outcomes.
  • Facilitating and guiding the teams to design good experiments that move the organization towards its outcomes.

iMQualified Because I Have…

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with and coaching two or more scrum teams.
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment.
  • Knowledge of multiple agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance objective data with other factors when making decisions.
  • Experience with Jira & Confluence or similar bug tracking and content management systems.
  • Exposure to release management and CI tools like Jenkins, AppVeyor, etc.
  • A CSM, PSM, or PMI-ACP certification as a plus.
