This is a hands-on technical role requiring extensive current experience designing, building and adopting large scale, cross-functional automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, back-end integration and database levels. The ideal candidate is an experienced software Automation Architect with strong problem-solving skills and a solid software testing foundation. What you will be responsible for

As a QA Architect you will:

  • Define, expand, improve and promote modern automation methodologies across the SDLC processes and all test activities.
  • Lead designing, prototyping and provide implementation support for automating QA process and testing.
  • Engage with teams/projects to assess their maturity level and recommend and/or assist in implementing test automation solutions for the given functional area.
  • Assist in driving mature test automation capabilities, such as BDD/ATDD capabilities that allow teams to shift testing and test automation as far left as possible.
  • Develop and plan all automation testing activities related to enterprise software development with enthusiasm and a natural ability to deliver on short time lines.
  • Identify and improve the Testing/automation architecture continuously to reduce the testing cycle time enabling the CI/CD models, working closely with various teams.

What we value

  • Extensive exposure to testing tools such as Selenium Webdriver, Silk4NET, Gradle, Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with TeamCity, Git, Confluence, JIRA, Docker, ELK stack.
  • Strong experience with database testing (Oracle, SQL/NoSQL).
  • Experience in design and architecting Agile development (Behavior Driven Development (BDD) / Test Driven Development (TDD), SCRUM).

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics or other technical course of study or Business with an MIS background.
  • MS degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience working as a QA automation engineer for web/application development projects, with 4+ years in an architect role.
  • 5+ years hands on experience in developing and maintaining test automation framework or architecture that is scalable and maintainable to meet dynamic business needs.

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $185,000 Annual. The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
