What You Will Be Doing:
As Helion's Senior Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing financial models, organization-wide financial management mechanisms, actionable and impactful reports and analyses, budgeting tools, and strategic insights. This role reports directly to our CFO at our headquarters in Everett, WA.
You Will:
- Collaborate with Executives: Partner with our CFO and Finance Director to craft clear financial reports and commentary tailored for our leadership team and facilitate cross-functional alignment across organization leaders. Create presentations that communicate actionable insights that drive growth and operational efficiency.
- Lead Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decisions. Collaborate across departments to gather data used to evaluate our processes and implement best practices and improvements for company-wide, long-term planning. Ensure models reflect business conditions and assumptions and analyze Helion's financial performance against budgets and forecasts to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create Strategic Reporting: Create monthly and quarterly reporting packages to support informed decision-making for the business. Develop insightful and actionable financial reporting that includes dashboards, metrics, presentations, and commentary to Helion leadership.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of industry experience in a finance role.
- 2+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or tech.
- 2+ years of experience with in-house FP&A at a scaling startup, or publicly listed, high-growth company.
- Experience collaborating with and presenting to high-level stakeholders including executives and investors.
