The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for defining and implementing the global data strategy for Krispy Kreme. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, data management, and data governance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions in a large, complex organization.
A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Define and implement the global data strategy for Krispy Kreme.
- Design and develop data architecture solutions that meet the needs of the business.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models, data flow diagrams, and other documentation.
- Help establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
- Lead data integration and data migration projects.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and data management.
- Drive the standards for Data Quality across multiple datasets and drive for data trust across the enterprise.
- Work with business partners to define ways to leverage data to develop platforms and solutions to drive business growth.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with AI/ML and LLMs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with data governance and data security best practices.
- Experience in a global, publicly traded company preferred.
- Knowledge of global data regulations and compliance requirements preferred.
