If you are interested, please apply and email an updated copy of your resume to Kayla at (email protected)Job Title: Lab Technician Control Role Shift Hours: Typical hours are: 7am - 3:30pmOn-site role in Branchburg, NJPay Rate Range: $21-$23/HR Job DescriptionIn this role you will perform a wide variety of research and development laboratory tasks and experiments. You may alsobe responsible for media preparation in the research and development area. You will perform limited troubleshootingand calibration of instruments; weighs, measure and check materials to ensure batches contain proper ingredients andquantities. Maintain records and clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements, good manufacturingpractices and standard operating procedures. specifications. ResponsibilitiesPerform weighing and dispensing of raw materials for process orders, inventory management, and warehousemanagement following applicable SOPs and Batch recordPerform production and testing including production support duties for Operations ensuring quality ofproduction and/or lab testing is completed by the departmentPerforms a variety of duties relating to production operations. Follows departmental work instructions, SOPs,OSHA safety regulations and cGMPs to perform assigned tasksMonitor and oversee lab supply inventory, generate expense purchase requisitions, if applicable, inputproduction data and other work-output data into appropriate network (e.g. SAP / LIMS) and maintaindocumentation in accordance with established proceduresDuties may include handling of hazardous materials in activities described above. Depending upon area ofassignment or primary focus, may maintain departmental stock rooms, keep labs stocked, prepare buffers asneeded/required which may also include performing direct production or testing activitiesMaintain stock rooms and laboratories or work areas properly stocked with daily supplies to include thescheduling of repairs and preventative maintenance as necessary and report malfunctions to supervisorMonitor lab supply inventory, generate expense purchase requisitions, if applicable, input production data andother work-output data into appropriate network (e.g. SAP / LIMS) and maintain documentation in accordancewith established proceduresDuties may include handling of hazardous materials as described above. Depending upon area of assignment orprimary focus, may perform various manufacturing and testing duties in addition to maintaining departmentalstock rooms, log books, preparing buffers as needed/required which may also include, performing directmanufacturing activities such as bulk formulation, filling, sub-assembly and sample testingInterface with internal groups to assure laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration and documents conformto established practicesAttends required training classes and participates in on-the-job trainingManages schedules, workload and establishes priorities using inputs from business requirements, SAP, and/orinternal customer needsQualifications:Associates Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred1+ Year General laboratory experience with basic GMP Knowledge; 2 years preferredEquivalent combination of education and work experience is acceptableDemonstrates ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Directions for Testing (DFT) documentsDemonstrates competence in reading and completing charts, forms, and other documentsAbility to use personal computer with basic word-processing and spreadsheet applicationsGood written and verbal communication skills highly desirableEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
