Advanced MedAesthetic Partners (AMP) is the premier platform for aesthetics practice owners looking to grow to the next level. We partner with med spas, plastic surgery practices and dermatology practices, by purchasing equity in your practice, and operate as an aligned business partnership. Practice owners immediately financially benefit from a partnership, while AMP provides funding for expansion and a professional infrastructure that is challenging for one to five location practices to develop on their own.

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the VP of People Services is responsible for planning, organizing and managing all aspects of human resources. We need a strong communicator that fosters trust with the executive team and front-line employees. A deep understanding of employment law that translates to the creation of policies, guidelines, and programs with emphasis on employee relations and a sophisticated change management approach. The VP should have a clear definition of high performance and how to foster it through talent management, employee relations and benefits. We are looking for an innovative, empathetic, problem-solving leader.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating a positive work environment: Fostering a workplace culture that is welcoming to diverse voices.
  • Developing a strong organizational culture: Ensuring that the company's culture supports and improves the employee experience.
  • Aligning HR practices with company goals: Ensuring that HR practices support the company's objectives.
  • Collaborating with employees to ensure retention: Crafting workplace policies that fit the needs of employees.
  • Driving employee engagement: Creating training programs and employee wellness initiatives
  • Starting rewards initiatives: Recognizing employees for their work and incentivizing company loyalty
  • Acquires and maintains sound knowledge and understanding of the organization and uses that knowledge and understanding to better comprehend all projects and programs.
  • Plays significant internal role; to ensure proper messaging of human resource policies and procedures.
  • Directs all daily human resources operations including recommendations to the COO about the establishment and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Ensures compliance with all state and federal employment regulatory requirements.
  • Keeps accurate record of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews and terminations.
  • Directs the implementation of improved procedures to ensure recruitment, hiring, onboarding of employees comply with policy.
  • In collaboration with the Recruitment & Talent Team, works with the leadership team to identify recruitment and retention needs and supports a recruitment plan designed to fill demand.
  • Ensures a proactive, fair and consistent approach to employee relations processes that support the organizations vision, mission and values.
  • Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records (personnel and health) and other information.
  • Participate in the organizations Performance Improvement Program to ensure the Human Resource activities are being monitored for improvement.
  • Coordinates and oversees the organizations Workers Compensation and Unemployment processes including reporting and follow-up; liaison with the Department of Labor and Department of Employment Security; attends hearings, assists manager and staff members with return to work plans and related issues as needed.
  • Assist managers with promotions, status changes, transfers, and position changes.
  • Represents organization at personnel related hearings and investigations.
  • In collaboration with the Leadership team, ensures that the organizations orientation and annual educational programs comply with all regulatory requirements related to employee health, safety and risk management programs.
  • Oversees OSHA, BLS, and EEO-1 reporting process annually for posting and filing.
  • Plans, directs, and supervises all activities relating to administration and maintenance of payroll and employee benefits programs. Develops, implements, and controls programs in a manner that ensures cost effectiveness, market competitiveness and internal equity among employees.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Seven to ten years of progressive Human Resource experience
  • Five to seven years of healthcare Human Resource experience
  • Human Resource certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is preferred.
  • Strong leadership acumen; successful team management and development
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities across various stakeholders and departments.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, quantitative and logical thinking skills
