CAD Drafter / Jr. Engineer

JK Executive Strategies has partnered with Upstate Door in a search for a CAD Drafter / Jr. Engineer. Upstate Door specializes in unique, one-of-a-kind custom door solutions. They have the expertise and capacity to manage all high-end interior, exterior, and specialty door needs out of our Warsaw & Castile manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities:
- Interact with the Project Team, Engineering, and Production members to solve daily challenges.
- Act as a design consultant for sales team and our customer base (Architects & Builders).
- Create highly detailed drawings of our high-end custom wood doors.
- Creation of drawings that are utilized by customers as well as Engineering and Production.
- Provide exceptional support to both external customers and internal team.
- Communicate issues and concerns to the Manager in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards.
- Working with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications.
- Success Metrics:
- Drawing Turnaround time
- Accuracy of drawings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-year degree in a technical field.
- Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD (2D).
- 1-3 years of Drafting experience.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
Salary:
$20-$22/Hour
