Job Requirements / Description

Trust Coordinator opportunity with growing Trust and Estates Practice of Major Firm, Boston/Hybrid!

About the organization: well established entity with hundreds of employees working hybrid in stunning Boston headquarters. The team is collaborative, upbeat, and excited about their growth. As this is a larger entity, there’s opportunity for the Trust Coordinator to work towards their CFTA, CFA, MBA, or a JD while working in their role- and the firm has tuition reimbursement along with other outstanding benefits! You'll work closely with 2 Senior Trust Coordinators, who are friendly, enthusiastic, and available to help mentor and answer questions. Along with the 2 Senior Trust Coordinators, you'll support the client engagement of 3 Trust Advisors. While there are multiple avenues for growth, they would love to have someone genuinely interested in growing and staying within the Trusts area- great for someone interested in both finance and legal!

What you’ll do: coordinate client account operations under the direction of Trust Advisors, Trustees, Lawyers, and Clients through managing: transactions, accounts, scheduling, household payments, insurance, and gifting programs. Handle internal and external client matters and plan client meetings. Create, draft, and edit documents using templates. Assist with special projects that have multiple deadlines and supervisors. Once settled, you will have direct client interaction and some smaller clients to manage directly.

About you: You have some relevant internships during school and, ideally 6 months to 4 years of client service experience in a financial services setting, ideally coordinating Trust & Estate details as a liaison between clients and Financial Advisors or Trust and Estate attorneys. Prior experience using MS Office and ability to learn new software applications, plus project management capabilities and a knack for high end client service! Bachelor’s degree (required). As this is intended to become a forward/ client facing role once you are ready, a dynamic, warm, and engaging personality is going to be the right fit.
