Job Description:

Reporting to Advantest America IT Department Manager as the local report line, and globally to Advantest Japan IT Security Manager and the EVP of Information Technologies, this position will be responsible for all aspects of information security and technology risk management across Advantest Corp.

This role requires familiarity with all security measures, promoting ISO 27001 certification, and advancing the Company's security measures to comply with customer, industry, and NIST security requirements. As well as the ability to work across the IT organization and the divisions to align information security priorities and controls with key business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Assist IT Security Manager in Japan for the implementation and enforcement of information security governance including policies, standards, and procedures in collaboration with other Advantest business departments including Information Security Committee, HR, Legal, Finance and Data Privacy Officers.
  2. Lead the certification of ISO 27001 and other security certifications or compliance with requirements for group companies in North America and Latin America.
  3. Monitor customer and industry information security requirements, scores, and lead activities to ensure compliance with the Company's response.
  4. Development and execution of IT security education plans in partnership with internal communication to raise awareness around IT security risks and best practices.
  5. Ensure excellence in Information security operations and appropriate service level agreement in response to IT security issues.
  6. Ensure appropriate information security Incident Management and escalation (SOC: Security Operation Center, CSIRT: Computer Security Incident Response Team).
  7. Ensure that all IT assets and services are secure, ranging from mobile devices, desktops, servers, and applications to networks through the implementation of best-in-class security measures.
  8. Ensure IT security and IT risk management in view of Business Continuity Plans.
  9. Act as the IT liaison to communicate with internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with Information Security and Data Privacy regulations.
