Do you want to work on scaling challenges for a leading database that provides single-digit-millisecond performance at any scale? We are seeking a deeply technical Software Development Engineer to join our team and help push our product even further. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and optimizing highly distributed, large-scale services for DynamoDB Border Services. You will translate complex requirements into detailed architecture and design, work hands-on with the engineering team, and contribute to the intellectual property of the company. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, manage, optimize, and reimagine highly distributed, large-scale services
  • Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
  • Work hands-on with the engineering team to manage day-to-day development activities, participate in designs, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation
  • Deliver quality features on-time and on-budget
  • Contribute to the intellectual property of the organization through patents and external publications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
