About the Opportunity
As an Engineering Director, Platform , you will lead a talented team of software engineers to design and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance platform solutions. You’ll be a critical part of driving platform initiatives and aligning them with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to software engineers. Define and execute the platform development roadmap.
- Team Management : Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team. Foster an innovative and collaborative work environment.
- Platform Development : Design and implement scalable platform components. Optimize platform performance and ensure high availability.
- Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with executive leadership, product management, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and integration.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong skills in programming, data structures, algorithms, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in marketing technology and voice technology (e.g., Twilio) is a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and machine learning.
- Strong background in performance optimization and high-availability systems.
