About the Opportunity

As an Engineering Director, Platform , you will lead a talented team of software engineers to design and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance platform solutions. You’ll be a critical part of driving platform initiatives and aligning them with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to software engineers. Define and execute the platform development roadmap.
2. Team Management : Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team. Foster an innovative and collaborative work environment.
3. Platform Development : Design and implement scalable platform components. Optimize platform performance and ensure high availability.
4. Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with executive leadership, product management, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and integration.

What You Bring to the Table

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
3. Strong skills in programming, data structures, algorithms, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
4. Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
5. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
6. Experience in marketing technology and voice technology (e.g., Twilio) is a plus.
7. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Bonus Skills

1. Experience with cloud-based platforms and machine learning.
2. Strong background in performance optimization and high-availability systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
