Travel RRT in Albuquerque, NM

**Job Title:** Respiratory Therapist

**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours/week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required
**License:** New Mexico License (can pend submission)
**Certifications:** RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP
**Must-Have:**
- Trauma Level I experience required
**Job Description:**
- Work primarily in a NICU setting with an average daily census of 6-10 ventilators
- Float to Adult units as needed
- Perform tasks such as endotracheal tube/suctioning, extubation, nasal/oral airway placement/suctioning, oropharyngeal suctioning, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy suctioning
- Conduct pulmonary toileting and ABG interpretation
- Work weekends and holidays per unit requirements with a maximum of three consecutive weekends if needed
- First-time travelers accepted
- This is a Level I Trauma, Teaching, Children's Hospital, Short term, acute care facility
- Must comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions accepted with proper documentation)
- Block scheduling not accommodated
- Compliance deadlines are strict; candidates need to be ready to work on compliance promptly after signing
- Modules are completed during orientation and recorded via Unit Educators through the learning platform
