The role:

This is a highly unique opportunity to develop a book of business through our existing client base.

The Staffing Manager plays a critical role in driving and managing Andrews & Cole’s rapidly growing consulting business in conjunction with the Partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with finance and accounting professionals to evaluate them for consulting engagements.
  • Meet with clients to understand the scope and requirements of the engagement and negotiate appropriate bill rates, contract terms, and fees.
  • Manage intake, qualify, and prioritize new and existing consulting orders.
  • Facilitate the presentation of candidates, schedule and prepare candidates for interviews and debrief post meetings.
  • Leverage existing client contacts to develop new business. Research and contact prospective clients.
  • Work with VP of Finance and Operations to ensure pre-employment steps are completed, including references, background checks, and drug tests.
  • Manage consultants on assignment performing weekly quality control checks.
  • Facilitate contract extensions or redeployment of consultants as assignments approach completion.
  • Conduct follow-up survey with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and obtain references for consultants.
  • Help develop and coordinate consultant appreciation events.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS is required.
  • 3-15 years of experience in either sales, business development, customer service, recruiting, or within our specialty, finance and accounting.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to connect with people, listen, and solve problems.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, tenacious, able to cope with and learn from failure.
