General Manager

Our client, a leader in the engineered construction industry, is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee operations and guide the company through its next phase of growth. This is a key leadership role where you will manage and develop engineering teams, ensure operational excellence, and drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability. The position requires a hands-on leader with a solid background in engineered construction products and a proven track record in managing large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee day-to-day operations and lead the engineering, production, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure project delivery meets high standards of quality, sustainability, and efficiency.
2. Provide strategic leadership to expand business focusing on scaling operations and driving profitability.
3. Manage P&L responsibilities, ensuring financial targets are met, with a focus on significantly increasing annual revenue from its current level, while capitalizing on clear growth opportunities within the market.
4. Drive business performance by optimizing processes, improving productivity, and aligning resources with company goals.
5. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to foster business growth and secure new opportunities.

Requirements

1. Proven experience with pre-engineered construction products, including structural steel and related components.
2. Extensive experience in financial management, with a demonstrated ability to maintain and grow a company with revenues exceeding $25M.
3. Strong leadership background in managing and developing engineering teams.
4. Excellent communication and team-building skills.
5. A solid track record of successful project management.
6. Familiarity with implementing ERP or WMS systems.
7. Proven ability to leverage talent and foster professional development.
