Salary Range:
$115,000.00 To 135,000.00 Annually
Job Summary:
Zel Technologies, LLC (ZelTech) is in search of an experienced business development professional with proven leadership and business contacts who can take the lead in identifying new business opportunities for ZelTech in the DoD and civilian agencies. This position will be an active participant in senior-level corporate discussions involving growth strategy and initiatives and bid and proposal activities.
Responsibilities:
- Research customers, competitors, solutions, specific opportunities, teaming partners and potential key personnel to capture Government Contracts.
- Perform research and analysis to identify and validate specific business opportunities.
- Establish leads/contacts with potential customers, develop and provide company awareness/capabilities briefings, attend marketing/business development conferences/seminars, provide information for bid/no bid decision making, and help develop/foster teaming arrangements with other companies.
- Prioritize, lead, and execute capture strategies.
- Leading capture for non-traditional pursuits related to OTA, SBIR and STTR.
- Assist in the development of marketing and promotional materials, overall proposal strategy, and proposal development.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships and keep the business leadership team informed and engaged in advancing strategic partnerships with clients and industry partners.
- Integral part of developing winning proposals for all pursuits, including research, analysis, and writing.
Requirements:
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must be eligible to obtain a secret or higher security clearance.
- BA or BS degree or ten (10) or more years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated successful track record of winning new business.
- Five (5) or more years of experience with management of complex technical solutions, capture and proposal development efforts for the Space, Intelligence, or DoD communities.
- Experience with successful execution of all phases of a large and multi-year capture effort, including strategic planning, teaming, proposals, market, or competitive and price-to-win analyses.
- Existing relationships with the Intelligence community and DoD clients and decision-makers.
- Proven win record and hands-on proposal development experience.
- Knowledge, experience, and success of the entire capture process (Shipley model) and experience in all contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M, cost plus).
- Ability to use automated tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) to present ideas, information, and reports.
- Ability to communicate multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts.
- Ability to translate detailed technical information into appropriate executive level briefings and information exchanges.
- Successful background and drug screening check.
Preferred Requirements:
- Active secret or higher security clearance.
- Experience in developing new business with Federal sector agencies.
- Experience with DelTek’s GovWin resource.
Physical Demands or Work Environment:
- The majority of the time is spent in an office setting.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear.
- Flexible scheduling may be considered at the discretion of the Supervisor.
