This role will be hybrid based out of our San Francisco or Sunnyvale office.

The LinkedIn Finance Central Risk & Compliance (CRC) Team is made up of compliance professionals with diverse backgrounds and skill sets who have set a high bar for fostering a culture of compliance and integrity and providing optimal and effective compliance solutions that strengthen and protect our trusted brand. If you’re passionate about managing high-priority compliance and regulatory programs within a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with smart, curious, and motivated people, you will fit in well with the Finance CRC Team.   

As Finance Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our high-tech company adheres to regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance programs across the company. **Responsibilities:  **

  • Develop project work plans, and sequencing efforts across multi-disciplinary teams. Identify and track risks and dependencies to drive timely delivery across teams. 

  • Develop a regulatory compliance communication and training plan including training materials for regulatory and audit readiness activities and assist in the delivery of training 

  • Lead risk assessments for optimal mitigation approaches

  • Support the creation of an internal control design and testing strategy and design and manage the related tracking process. 

  • Develop and oversee a deficiency management process. 

  • Communicate proactively and clearly for driving results across teams. 

  • Maintain accurate and detailed compliance program documentation, per established governance expectations, ensuring easy retrieval and reference. 

  • Build trust and maintain positive relationships with internal partners, cross-functional teams, and external auditors.  

  • Manage consultant teams for effective and timely delivery and within budget 

  • Perform other duties, special projects as assigned. 

  • Play an active role in fulfilling LinkedIn’s mission of connecting the world’s professionals to make them more productive and successful by being an integral team member.

**Basic Qualifications:  **

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience 

  • 6+ years of experience as an auditor, compliance professional, and/or equivalent experience in risk management and developing compliance programs, timelines, and budgets and tracking progress against key milestones and deliverables. 

**Preferred Qualifications:  **

  • Prior experience in audit, compliance, and/or regulatory matters, especially in the technology space, strongly preferred.   

  • Familiarity with tech regulations, especially GDPR, Digital Markets Act, Digital Services Act, and AI, and experience operationalizing tech compliance is a plus. 

  • Proven success in structuring ambiguous problems into clear work streams and driving execution. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. 

  • Knowledge of project and change management best practices and a continuous improvement mindset to optimize project processes and outcomes. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment. 

  • Unwavering commitment to ethics, integrity, and accountability with the ability to maintain independence and confidentiality. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and executing strategies to build a cohesive community across diverse teams and disciplines. 

  • Ability to inspire and motivate compliance and business leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared success. 

  • Organizational skills to manage multiple contemporaneous matters.  

  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to drive projects, identify and resolve issues, and earn the confidence and cooperation of others.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $112,000 to $182,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
