Trust & Estate Business Development Managers
A leading Trust Company in Manhattan is seeking an experienced Trust professional to join their Business Development leadership. The company provides sales, marketing and technical support, publications, trust planning and consulting for its national sister company with over 25 years in the industry.
The Sr. Business Development Manager, Trusts works closely with the NYC team and the Managing Director of Business Development to build out the sales functions of the company. Preferably an Attorney, the Sr. BD Manager will be knowledgeable of different types of Trusts and Planning, as well as Trust Law and Taxes in order to s in order to effectively build relationships with their HNW client base. . There will be no Trust Administration involved in this role. The BD Manager will work with referrals to develop and maintain those relationships, establish new client leads and engage with prospective business. They will represent the company as a subject matter expert and will onboard and transition new client accounts.

Responsibilities:
- Work with Managing Director on all business development initiatives
- Maintain and develop industry referral sources
- Technical Sales & Marketing
- Onboarding new Trust Clients
- Strong background in Trust Law and Administration
- Review and vet Trust documents before sending them for administration.
- Ability to travel and attend conferences
- JD preferred
- 5+ years working directly with a Trust & Estates team as an Attorney, Officer, Administrator or Relationship Manager
- Strong working knowledge of Trust Law, Tax and Administration
- Experience working with high-net-worth families and family offices over 500M
