The Role at a Glance

This position will provide leadership and direction to ensure group results in the design and implementation of in-depth business metrics and analytics to support goals and objectives. You will lead a team to collaborate with stakeholders and provide consultative advice & analytic support to advance growth and profitability initiatives and deliver meaningful business results.

What you'll be doing

  1. Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assess the impact, and collaborate with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  2. Direct and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
  3. Proactively identify and direct the implementation of process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across the department.
  4. Provide subject matter expertise to team members and internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects.
  5. Lead the business insights and reporting team for Workplace Solutions account management organization using data to develop actionable insights that drive strategic and operational business decisions.
  6. Manage internal/external customer reporting needs including stewardships and performance guarantees tracking.
  7. Build strong relationships across the organizations to understand priorities, needs, and provide strategic recommendations.
  8. Advise senior management and stakeholders on design issues, capabilities, and/or system limitations; develop and recommend remediation plans.
  9. Direct the creation of dashboards & scorecards utilizing existing and newly developed metrics and performance monitoring to provide management with quantifiable gauges of business results, customer experience, renewals, and strategic initiatives.
  10. Partner with teams in the development, implementation, and evolution of metrics & analytics to support changing business needs & objectives, achieve desired results, and establish new forward-looking metrics.
  11. Collaborate across the data and IT organization to advocate business needs, strategic direction, and help set development priorities.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert providing support for requirements and UAT testing for the development of new data assets and analytic tools.
  13. Ensure team champions analytics and educates the business to drive adoption and usage of data analytics to further business insights.
  14. Provide training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments, for team members and give honest and open feedback to aid in the development of talent.

What we’re looking for

4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)

7+ Years of experience in insurance industry knowledge, preferably group; including business analysis and development of metrics that drive business decisions.
