Location: Chicago, IL (on a Hybrid work model going into the office 3 days/week)

Position Summary: The Financial Systems Analyst role is responsible for the daily technical support of critical financial and accounting systems to ensure accurate system operation and integrity of financial data. As a functional expert on the Firm's financial systems, he/she will be the technical point of contact between the business unit and the Information Technology (IT) department. The role will design technical documentation of system updates, improve workflow, and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor or Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems and/or Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
  2. 3+ years of overall financial or accounting systems experience (in the legal industry highly desirable)
  3. Knowledge of structured query language (SQL and T-SQL)
  4. 3+ years hands-on experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management methodologies
  5. Advanced report writing experience using tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  6. Experience with core financial software applications, such as: Elite 3E, ChromeRiver, and Intapp Time
  7. Advanced communication skills
