Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive Senior Analyst to join our Acquisitions team. This role offers broad exposure to all aspects of the investment process, including asset acquisition, joint-venture structuring, financing, asset management, development, and disposition. The successful candidate will conduct quantitative analysis, financial modeling, market research, and assist in preparing investment memos and business plans.


Key Responsibilities:

• Underwriting new investment opportunities in both income-producing assets and development projects.

• Developing and managing financial models, including discounted cash flows, sensitivity analysis, joint venture structures, and projected investment returns.

• Assisting in coordinating due diligence and closing processes by interfacing with third-party vendors, brokers, property managers, and lenders.

• Assisting in the execution of business plans for repositioning strategies, including capital expenditures and investor updates.

• Creating meaningful business plans and investment memos for the investment committee.

• Conducting market research, synthesizing macro-economic and local market information to craft investment strategies.

• Inputting market and property assumptions into Excel and Argus for cash flow projections.

• Preparing and maintaining financial reports and packages for MRP’s capital partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a leading four-year college or university.

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in real estate, finance, or capital markets.

• Outstanding financial modeling skills and a solid understanding of investment returns and sensitivities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Argus Enterprise.

• Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.

• Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently.

• Team-oriented with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
